We are thankful for you!!

We are two young entrepreneurs who own and run this small cheese business together which is located on the family dairy farm in Troy, ME. We obtained all the needed licenses in the spring of 2022 to begin our cheese-making journey.
If you can't find us with the cows or in our cheese house then you can find us outside skiing, hiking/backpacking or kayaking!

Hey, my name is Lavander and I am one of the many that live on the family farm located in Troy, ME. Where Kyle and Nicole collect the milk that they then turn into their cheese products. The milking herd consists of 20 Registered Jerseys, and we are milked in a tie-stall barn. We are grass-fed year-round, in the summer we graze on the luscious green grass in our pastures, and throughout the winter we enjoy the dry hay and balage that was collected from our neighboring fields.

We make a variety of artisan farmstead cheese all locally made and locally sourced in small batches. We currently have a total of 4 different types of cheeses with a variety of flavors that we sell along with our bottled milk.

At Creamy Acres Creamery, we only use milk from our own dairy herd to ensure it meets our high standards and expectations. We strive to give our cows the best life they deserve, and our moto is "Happy Cows Great cheese"

After the milk is heated and coagulated, it is separated into curds and whey. The curds are then cut and drained to remove excess whey. We then give our whey to our pigs and spread the rest onto our fields for added nutrients.

Our cheeses are aged in carefully controlled environments to develop their unique flavors and textures. We use a variety of techniques, to create a wide range of delicious cheeses.
